Box Score Waxahachie, TX - Southwestern Assemblies of God University (SAGU) played Texas A&M San Antonio in their first away match of the 2022 season.
The Texas A&M, San Antonio defense was utterly overwhelmed by the Lady Lions' attacking surge in the second half of the game. The third lightning delay in the game, which would have extended the game's duration above the allotted three hours, forced the lion's attack to halt with 8:19 still left to play.

Paul's Pondering
"Today's game revealed that we have the right attitude and mindset to handle adversity. We are competitors that will battle any team to the final whistle," SAGU head women's soccer coach Paul Hason commented.
"Away games are always a challenge; after the weather delay, the team was determined to come back to fight for the win. It wasn't the result we wanted, but it allowed us to grow stronger as a team. We are ready to bounce back and prepare for Saturday's game," SAGU assistant women's soccer coach Natalie Solorio added.
