Rodriguez's football odyssey began at SAGU, where he showcased his skills as a two-sport student-athlete, dominating both the gridiron and the baseball diamond. During his time at SAGU, Rodriguez's stellar performances caught the attention of scouts, paving the way for his transfer to Texas A&M Commerce, where he continued to shine as a defensive standout.
