CJ Hall Named NAIA First Team All-American After Historic Senior Season

March 31, 2025

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced its 2025 Men's Basketball All-America teams on Monday, following the conclusion of the 87th annual NAIA Men's Basketball National Championship. Nelson University standout CJ Hall was honored as a First Team All-American, solidifying his place among the elite players in the nation.

Hall, a senior guard, capped off a decorated college career by becoming the first First Team NAIA All-American in Nelson University men's basketball history. Known for his electric scoring ability, leadership, and relentless work ethic, Hall was the engine behind Nelson's impressive 2024-25 campaign.

His senior season was filled with accolades, including being named the Sooner Athletic Conference Player of the Year, two-time NAIA All-American, and a seven-time SAC Player of the Week. Hall led Nelson to a Sooner Athletic Conference Regular Season Championship, a NAIA National Tournament Round of 32 appearance, and amassed over 2,000 career points —finishing with 2,029 points and 93 career wins across his collegiate journey.

Before his time at Nelson, Hall made his mark in junior college as the JUCO All-Region 5 Offensive Player of the Year, earning multiple All-Conference honors along the way.
