Wichita, Kan. — Nelson University Track & Field delivered a statement performance at the Wichita State Coach Wilson Invitational, stacking school records, NCCAA qualifiers, and national marks in a meet that showcased the program's growing depth and confidence.
Men's Highlights

Brandon Clark stole the spotlight in the triple jump, winning the meet with a massive 15.05m mark — good for #6 in the NAIA and #1 in the NCCAA. Clark wasn't finished there, adding a 6.81m long jump, eclipsing his ownschool record in the TJ along the way.

Hagen Darney had a breakout day across events: 6.82m in the long jump, 7.05 in the 60m, and 23.11 in the 200m, earning an NCCAA qualifying mark.

Greg Guidry impressed with versatility and speed, clocking 22.89 in the 200m, 7.17 in the 60m, and clearing 1.87m in the high jump — another NCCAA qualifier.

Josiah Wentrcek punched his ticket to nationals with an 8.98 in the 60m hurdles.

On the distance side, Jesus Flores was steady and strong, running 9:39.54 in the 3K and 4:44.20 in the mile.
Women's Highlights

Robyn Puente continued her record-breaking season in style. Competing in the 600m for the first time, she set a new school record at 1:43.16 after earlier posting a 10.09 in the 60m hurdles. Puente has now set a school record at every meet this season between the 800m and 600m and added an NCCAA qualifier to her résumé.

Kylie Adams lowered her 3K time to 11:17.15 and followed with a 5:41.61 mile, both NCCAA qualifying performances.

Anna Abshier earned an NCCAA qualifier with a 10.28 in the 60m hurdles.

Analia Menendez shattered the indoor school record in the 5K, clocking 20:13.87 for an NCCAA qualifier, while Betzaidy Najera followed closely with 20:22.13, also qualifying.

Zoey Hensley qualified for NCCAA with a 10.02 in the triple jump.

Leanna Jackson sprinted into the record books, running 8.08 in the 60m — an NCCAA qualifier and new school record.

The quartet of Robyn Puente, Reese Perkins, Miranda Sosa, and Elena Charping capped the day with a 4x400m relay indoor school record of 4:19.63.
