The Southwestern Assemblies of God University (SAGU) Women's soccer opened up Sooner Athletic Conference (SAC) play against (7-1) Mid-America Christian. The game started off tight and competitive as both team's played physical inside the box; a controversial penalty was called in the 23
rd minute which allowed MACU to score their first goal of the match. Another penalty kick in the 29
th minute would give MACU their second penalty goal of the match; MACU went on to win 3-0.
Zoe Boldt had a good game for Lions with 13 crucial saves down the stretch. The Lady Lions will be back in action Saturday, for a conference showdown with Southwestern Christian University.
