Southwestern Assemblies of God University (SAGU) women's soccer team played their last away game of the season in Arkansas against an undefeated (7-0) John Brown University (JBU) team.
Zoe Boldt was able to pick up where she left off last week with three saves early in the first half and
Kyleigh Cano's shot on goal late in the first half almost put the Lady Lions on the scoreboard, but a save by JBU kept the Lady Lions shutout through the first half. On the other side, JBU was able to capitalize off of two corner kicks to take the lead 2-0 going into halftime. In the second half the ball couldn't bounce the Lady Lions way, as a corner kick and a couple loose balls in the penalty area help JBU score three goals; JBU won with a final score of 5-0. The Lady Lions will finish off the regular season with two home games against Central Christian College and Texas Wesleyan University.
