Waxahachie, TX | December 8, 2025 — Nelson University's Swiss-army-knife guard and matchup nightmare, Micah Clark, has been named the Sooner Athletic Conference (SAC) Offensive Player of the Week, the league office announced Monday. The honor comes after a blistering 2–0 road swing in which Clark rose to the moment.
Stepping onto the hardwood Thursday night against an undefeated RV Wayland squad, Clark wasted no time proving he was the most imposing presence on the floor. He delivered a grown-man 23-point, 11-rebound double-double, powering Nelson to a huge SAC road win.
Clark's performance was a masterclass in versatility bulldozing his way through contact at the rim, burying timely threes, stretching the defense off the bounce, and swallowing every crucial rebound in traffic. His nine defensive boards repeatedly slammed the door on Wayland's second-chance opportunities and ignited transition sequences that shifted momentum back to the Lions.
Simply put: Clark set the tone.
Two days later in Goodwell, Oklahoma, Clark showed he had plenty left in the tank.
Against Oklahoma Panhandle State, the 6'7 guard became the spark, the fuse, and the explosion. Clark carved up the Aggies with a full offensive arsenal: slashing finishes, transition threes, and a soaring statement dunk that quieted the crowd and lifted the Lions.
He closed the night with 20 points on a scorching 8-of-10 shooting, including 3-of-4 from deep, showcasing his ability to score from all three levels with ease and swagger. Every run Nelson needed, Clark delivered the ignition. Every moment of separation, he created it.
Across the weekend, Clark averaged 21.5 points on elite efficiency, set the emotional temperature for the Lions, and proved why he is one of the most unguardable players in the SAC. His blend of size, skill, and competitive fire turned a tough road trip into a statement weekend.
