Waxahachie, TX | December 9, 2025 — When the moment demanded poise, power, and production, Micah Clark delivered all three in abundance. After a fiery 2–0 conference road trip that showcased his full offensive arsenal, the Nelson University senior guard has been recognized as the NCCAA Division I Men's Basketball Student-Athlete of the Week.
For a player already known as a matchup nightmare, this weekend stamped Clark as one of the hottest players in the nation.
Facing an undefeated Wayland Baptist squad on Thursday, Clark played with an engine that never flickered. He imposed his will early and often, powering the Lions with a 23-point, 11-rebound double-double.
Two days later in Goodwell, Oklahoma, Clark elevated yet again this time with ruthless efficiency. The 6'7 Dallas native was impossible to contain, slicing into the lane, pulling up in transition, and hushing the crowd with a soaring highlight dunk.
He finished the night with 20 points on 8-of-10 shooting, including 3-of-4 from deep, scoring at all three levels and delivering momentum-swinging buckets.
Across both games, Clark averaged:
-
21.5 PPG
-
6.5 RPG
-
2 AST & 2 STL
-
64% FG
-
38% 3PT
