Waxahachie, TX – Nelson University junior Cassidy Hargesheimer has been named the Sooner Athletic Conference (SAC) Setter of the Week, following a strong performance that guided the Lions to a 2-0 record in league play.
Hargesheimer was the engine of the Nelson attack, dishing out 55 assists across the two matches for an average of 6.88 assists per set, while also contributing 15 digs defensively.
She recorded a team-high 30 assists in Nelson's thrilling 3-2 road victory at Wayland Baptist, then followed with 25 more helpers to pace the Lions in a dominant 3-0 sweep at Panhandle State.
