Four Lady Lions Earn All-Conference Honors After SAC Tournament Appearance

May 7, 2025

Oklahoma City –  The 2025 softball season may have come to a close for the Nelson University Lady Lions, but four standout athletes left their mark by earning spots on the Sooner Athletic Conference (SAC) postseason awards list.

Despite a tough first-round exit at the SAC Tournament in Oklahoma City falling 0-2 to Oklahoma City University and 1-9 to Southwestern Christian the Lady Lions showed flashes of grit and talent throughout the year, culminating in well-deserved individual recognition:

Each of these student-athletes embodied the spirit of Nelson Softball, contributing through leadership, performance, and poise on and off the field. #WhereLionsFindTheirRoar
